God has called us to share the love of Jesus and His desire that ALL come to know Him as Lord and Savior. We provide a nurturing environment that allows all individuals to grow in faith and to become all that God has created them to be. Through this ministry, we strive to strengthen families who face daily challenges of disabilities through support, family worship experiences and mentoring relationships. We desire to stimulate an increased awareness in the church and community of the gifts and abilities of people with disabilities.

The Sonshine Kids Ministry is for children with special needs. Our desire is for all children to be taught God's Word at their level of understanding. We will have a trained servant "buddy" who will stay with your child as they participate in all class activities.

Lisa Woodard -

Hi, my name is Lisa Woodard. I praise the Lord for the blessing of being able to serve the children in the Special Needs Ministry. The Lord has allowed me to graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education & Elementary Education. I have also obtained my Master's Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Early Childhood. I have taught children with special needs for 20 years. Children are a gift from the Lord! (Psalm 127:3)

Stacy Berchou -

I look forward to serving your child in the Special Needs Ministry. The Lord has allowed me to graduate with a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology and to obtain licensure within New Your State to serve children with various communication needs. The Lord has blessed me with becoming a part of this wonderful ministry and I can't wait to see how He will continually bless the families here at Faith Fellowship Church.

Anthony & Carol Cusmano -

Anthony - As a member of Faith Fellowship Church and a Committed Broken Servant for the past three and one-half years, I have served in the Children's Ministry, working with children ages 5-11 as a Junior Church Bible station teacher. I have also served in other children's special events programs and our Summer VBS Soccer Camp. I am a retired Special Education teacher with 35 years experience working with children and young adults with developmental, learning, behavioral and physical disabilities. Having experience working with families with special needs children, I look forward and feel blessed to be part of the Special Needs Ministry at Faith Fellowship Church.

Carol - I have been married to Anthony for 26 years. We have two children and two grandchildren. I am a registered nurse and have had the privilege of serving the developmentally disabled for more than 26 years. Together, with Anthony, we have served in Children's Ministry for many years. I currently serve in "God's Glory Garden" and Junior Church at Faith Fellowship Church and am now blessed to serve in the Special Needs Ministry.
